Shipping Policy
1. Scope

This Shipping & Delivery Policy governs the dispatch, transportation, delivery, installation scheduling, and risk transfer of Smart Gas Meters and related equipment ("Device") supplied by the Company.

By placing an order, the Customer agrees to be bound by this Policy.

2. Shipping Coverage

Shipping is available within India only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on location, availability, and regulatory requirements.

The Company reserves the right to refuse shipment to certain restricted or high-risk areas.

3. Processing Time

Orders are processed within 2–5 working days after payment confirmation.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Bulk or commercial orders may require additional processing time.

4. Delivery Timeline

Estimated delivery time: 5–10 working days from dispatch.

Delivery timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed.

The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by:

Courier/logistics providers

Natural disasters

Government restrictions

Strikes or supply chain disruptions

Incorrect address provided by Customer

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be clearly mentioned at checkout or in the invoice.

The Company reserves the right to revise shipping charges without prior notice.

6. Risk & Title Transfer

Risk of loss or damage to the Device transfers to the Customer upon delivery at the registered delivery address.

Title (ownership) transfers:

Upon full payment (in case of outright sale), OR

Remains with the Company (in case of rental/subscription model).

7. Inspection at Delivery

The Customer must:

Inspect the package at the time of delivery.

Refuse delivery if the package appears tampered or damaged.

Report visible damage within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

Failure to report within 24 hours shall be deemed acceptance of the Device in good condition.

8. Installation Scheduling

Delivery of the Device does not automatically constitute installation.

Installation will be scheduled separately by authorized technicians.

The Customer must provide safe and lawful access to the premises.

If installation fails due to Customer unavailability, additional visit charges may apply.

9. Failed Delivery

Delivery shall be considered failed if:

The Customer is unavailable after multiple attempts.

Incorrect address or contact details are provided.

Site conditions are unsafe or non-compliant.

Re-shipping charges may apply.

10. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for delays or failure in shipping due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Acts of God

Floods, fire, earthquakes

Government orders

Pandemic restrictions

War or civil disturbances

11. Limitation of Liability

The Company's liability for loss or damage during shipping shall not exceed the invoice value of the Device.

The Company shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages

Business interruption losses

Loss due to improper handling after delivery

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in [Coimbatore, India].
